[HCM] Machine Learning Engineer

Build, deploy, and maintain ML models and APIs for backend services to integrate model predictions into production systems.
Develop and own ML solutions for key projects: surge pricing, ETA prediction, and object detection for proof-of-delivery image processing.
Research and implement advanced ML approaches (supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning, computer vision) to solve logistics and on-demand business problems.
Monitor model performance in production, detect data drift, and proactively retrain or update models to maintain accuracy.
Design, implement, and monitor A/B tests to evaluate model performance and business impact.
Collaborate with Data Engineers and Backend Engineers to build reliable data pipelines, feature stores, and ensure smooth model API integration.
Use up-to-date ML tech stack:
- Languages: Python (scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow)
- Model Serving / API: FastAPI, Flask or equivalent
- Big Data: PySpark, BigQuery, GCS/S3
- Cloud: GCP (Dataproc, Vertex AI or equivalent)

B.S./M.S. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent experience
At least 3 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or Data Scientist, with hands-on production deployment experience
Strong proficiency in Python for model development, experimentation, and automation
Solid understanding of ML fundamentals — supervised/unsupervised learning, feature engineering, model evaluation
Experience building and exposing ML models via REST APIs (FastAPI, Flask, or similar)
Experience with big data tools: BigQuery, GCS/S3, PySpark for large-scale data processing
Experience with computer vision (object detection, image classification) is a strong plus
Experience with time-series forecasting or pricing/optimization models is a significant advantage
Good understanding of A/B testing and statistical significance
