Job description
We are seeking a proactive and data-driven Business Analyst Executive to play a pivotal role in optimizing our user management processes, developing robust customer segmentation models, and delivering actionable data insights. You will be instrumental in driving strategic decisions, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting various departments with timely and precise data analysis and recommendations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. User Management Optimization:
- Analyze, design, and optimize user assignment and transfer flows to ensure efficiency, fairness, and minimize operational friction.
- Collaborate with Product and Tech teams to implement system enhancements for user management.
2. Customer Segmentation:
- Develop and analyze diverse customer segmentation models (e.g., new, old, seasonal, RFM) to understand user behavior and inform targeted marketing/sales strategies.
- Propose optimizations for customer engagement based on segment performance.
3. Data Analysis & Recommendations:
- Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify trends, bottlenecks, and growth opportunities.
- Provide strategic, data-driven recommendations to improve business performance and drive revenue growth.
4. Internal Request Support:
- Process ad-hoc data requests and generate data cards for sales owners and other internal stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate information delivery.
5. Project Involvement & Execution:
- Provide reporting, tracking, user analysis, and recommendations for business projects.
- Support the execution of data-driven treatment flows and A/B tests to optimize user experience and business outcomes.
6. Operational Monitoring & Regional Reporting:
- Monitor and track regional operational performance against key KPIs.
- Prepare regular reports on regional trends and performance for management review.
Job requirement
- 1-2 years as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role, preferably in Logistics, E-commerce, or Tech platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, IT, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel.
- Experience with BI/Visualization tools (Power BI, Looker Studio).
- Basic statistical analysis knowledge is a plus.
- Familiarity with marketing automation/customer engagement platforms (e.g., Insider, CleverTap) is a strong plus.
- Exceptional analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication, presentation, and persuasion skills; able to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Meticulous, responsible, and capable of independent work as well as effective teamwork.
- Solid understanding of user segmentation, user management processes, and core business KPIs.
- Strong knowledge of Customer Journey Mapping (CJM) and its application in optimizing user experience and lifecycle.
- Good understanding of mobile app ecosystems, user behavior analytics, and the critical role of in-app events in driving insights within a tech platform.
