Job description

We are seeking a Product Owner (2–4 years of experience) to take ownership of the Driver App, focusing on building products that support driver operations, fleet efficiency, and scalable logistics execution.
This role works at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Operations, and Training, ensuring that drivers are well-equipped, well-informed, and productive through intuitive and reliable digital tools.

Experience with fleet management, CRM, CMS, or training-related systems is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Driver App Ownership

  • Own and manage the Driver App product backlog, ensuring features are clearly defined, prioritized, and aligned with business and operational needs.
  • Drive improvements across core driver journeys, including job assignment, task execution, performance tracking, communication, and support.
  • Ensure the Driver App delivers a stable, easy-to-use experience for daily operational use.

Product Delivery & Execution

  • Translate business and operational requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
  • Work closely with Engineering and Design teams throughout the development lifecycle to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery.
  • Actively participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.

Fleet Management & Operations Enablement

  • Collaborate with operations and fleet teams to support driver onboarding, fleet management, performance monitoring, and compliance workflows.
  • Build and enhance features related to driver profiles, vehicle management, performance metrics, and operational controls.
  • Ensure product solutions align with real-world fleet operations and scalability needs.

CRM, CMS & Training Support

  • Work on CRM-related features that enable effective driver communication, issue tracking, and support workflows.
  • Support CMS and content management needs for in-app announcements, policies, and operational updates.
  • Enable training and learning flows within the Driver App, such as onboarding guides, feature tutorials, and operational instructions.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Act as a key liaison between Operations, Training, Customer Support, Product, and Tech teams.
  • Gather feedback from stakeholders and users to continuously improve product usability and effectiveness.
  • Align priorities across teams to ensure consistent execution and clear communication.

Quality, Release & Optimization

  • Coordinate UAT and validation with operations and training stakeholders before releases.
  • Monitor post-release performance and driver adoption.
  • Use data and feedback to iterate and optimize features continuously.

Job requirement

Experience & Skills

2–4 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Analyst, or similar product role.

Hands-on experience working with Agile/Scrum development teams.

  • Strong ability to write user stories, acceptance criteria, and product documentation.
  • Solid communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with mobile applications or operational systems.

Plus Points (Highly Preferred)

  • Experience with fleet management systems, driver operations, or logistics platforms.
  • Exposure to CRM systems, customer/driver support tools, or ticketing workflows.
  • Experience working with CMS or content-driven systems.
  • Involvement in training, onboarding, or learning-related product features.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with large user bases or frontline users (drivers, field staff).
  • Basic understanding of APIs, integrations, and system constraints.
  • Experience in logistics, transportation, or operations-heavy environments.
